General Information

To vote in Henry County, you must be registered at your current address.

Not sure if you’re registered to vote in Henry County?  You may do one of the following to verify:
·         Go to www.indianavoters.com
·         Call or visit the Voter Registration Office 

Requirements to register:
·         You must be a citizen of the United States
·         You must be at least 18 years of age by the next General Election
·         You must live in Henry County
·         You do NOT declare a party affiliation at the time of registration
·         No other person may register for you

Keep your voter registration up to date!

If you have moved, changed your name or are a new voter you can go to www.indianavoters.com to register online or print out a Voter Registration Application form that you can mail into the Voter Registration Office (voter registration applications cannot be emailed or faxed). You can also register at any BMV or in-person at the Voter Registration Office.

Your application will be processed and you will receive a Voter Acknowledgement Card in the mail. This card is for your records and is not needed on Election Day to vote.

The deadline to register or update your registration is twenty-nine (29) days before an election.  New or updated registrations received after the deadline will not be processed for the up-coming election.

Registered Voters may Vote at any Vote Center on Election Day.

The Vote Centers are open from 6:00AM until 6:00PM.

Absentee Voting

You may vote in the Justice Center. In-office absentee voting begins 28 days prior to an election and ends at noon on the Monday before election day.

To vote by mail, you must complete an Absentee Ballot By Mail Application and mail it to:
